Job Description: 

The candidate will fill the position of Application Technical Support in a financial solution environment. She/he will take ownership of reported customer cases, addressing and resolving requests and issues through enterprise systems and applications. The broad requirements for the position include skills for diagnosis, troubleshooting and performing root-cause analysis for reported incidents by customers. 


  • Provide high quality detailed information and accurate feedback to clients on software functionality for usability issues and software errors.
  • Deploy application releases, patches, customizations and hot fixes over various platforms and technologies. Participate in 24X7 on-call support service on a rotational basis.  


  • A college degree in computer or a technical related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working within a technical support team or service desks.
  • Good analytical skills, an eye for quality and a strong customer focus.
  • Experience with Unix and/or Windows server environments.
  • Working knowledge in Oracle or MSSQL. IBM Db2 is a major plus.
  • Knowledge of database concepts, SQL statements and some level of software development.
  • Good in spoken and written English. Knowledge of other languages is a major plus.
  • Good customer facing communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Web Application servers is a plus.
  • Self motivated, with an eagerness to learn new skills and applications.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
