Hazem Mulhim – Chief Executive Officer & Founder (CEO)

Hazem Mulhim is the Chief Executive Officer of EastNets. Having held senior management positions for the past 30 years, Hazem has proven his ability to establish and expand a business structure according to market needs. Over the years, he has effectively demonstrated the ability to build a new business, introduce new products, penetrate new markets, finalize strategic alliances, and successfully implement projects around the globe. Hazem has a Master’s of Science degree in Electronics Engineering and Medical Electronics from the Higher Institute for Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, Sofia, Bulgaria. He has also earned a Certificate of Advanced Management Program (AMP) from INSEAD, Fontainebleau in France.

Fahed Abu Hijleh - Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Fahed is EastNets’ CSO since March 2011 however; he has been employed with EastNets since 1992 and assumed different managerial and leadership positions during the last 20 years. In his various roles in Sales, Business Development, and Management, Fahed has consistently met or exceeded his targets. During his journey with EastNets, he has always performed up to management expectations in all positions held during both flourishing as well as in tough times. Fahed’s role is to plan and manage profitable direct and indirect sales operations for EastNets group. Fahed is a business oriented professional who holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Assuit University, Egypt, majoring in Accounting. He also attended the Orchestrating Winning Performance (OWP) management program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. His finance and accounting background combined with his sales, networking, and entrepreneurship skills lead to a successful career in business development and sales operations.

Teunis Robbert de Vries - Chief Technology officer (CTO)

Mr. Teunis Robbert de Vries holds a dual Master degrees in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam – Netherlands, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University – Netherlands. Prior to joining EastNets Mr. Teunis (Rob) occupied various top positions in industry leading organizations, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Assetgrip, and also as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Director of Development at All Options International, where he also held the roles, VP of Software and VP of Services & Infrastructure, and was responsible for developing 100% owned high speed market making software trading systems, ultra-low latency networks and 200 + servers in various co-locations close to exchanges worldwide. Before that, Rob was an Advisor & Strategist with Docdata Payments where he successfully created two strategic IT Ops and IT Product Development proposals. Rob also held the post of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Board Member with Intrum Justitia BV where he was responsible for Information Strategy and IT departments in 22 European countries, developing business KPI’s, introducing Balance Scorecard in Netherlands, and ad hoc financial reports, creating one IT group out of 22  IT island's, developing IJ Call Center Benchmark on debt collections across 7 regions, trend analysis, and variance. Rob's extensive experience also includes a role as an Executive Partner at Microsoft Solutions and also at Accenture BV, and as Director Gateway Technology Development at Oracle Corporation. Rob brings with him around 28 years of cross cultural experience in IT innovations. During the 28 years, he worked in Malaysia, Netherlands, China, Sweden, Germany and USA.

Mohamed El Bakkali - Chief Financial Officer   (CFO)

"Prior to becoming the Group Finance Director and CFO, Mohamed El Bakkali has been the Finance & Administration Director of EastNets Europe since the acquisition of Side International in 2007; he had until then worked at the EU institutions where he was in charge of managing the finance of EU-funded programmes aiming to set up a Free Trade Area between Europe and the Southern Mediterranean countries. With proven abilities to manage finance, his areas of specialization include budgeting, cash management, reporting and tax.Mr. Bakkali started his career in the United States in the Telecom Industry, after graduation from the Brussels Business School ICHEC, with a BA in Business administration with a major in Accounting and International Business. His educational background has been corroborated with a Master in Business Administration, a Master in European Tax Law and a degree on Strategy from the prestigious Harvard Business School. Since 2008 he has been a Member of the Belgian Institute of Accountants and a Member of the Belgian Institute of Tax Advisers (IEC)".

Deya Innab, Chief Strategy & Products Officer

Deya Innab joined EastNets in 2011 as Group Product Development Management Director, and in 2016 she was also assigned the Chief Strategy Officer role. She manages both capacities simultaneously, a job charged with complex and unique challenges. She has led the development of the EastNets 2020 Strategy and currently manages its implementation. Her 20+ years of expertise in technology and the financial industry has been an essential component for EastNets coming-of-age. In her key job capacity, Innab has greatly contributed to the rise of EastNets into a recognized brand in the global financial compliance and payments industry. EastNets had headhunted Innab from KPMG, where she alternated between the Bahraini and Qatari markets as Senior Manager in IT Advisory, which focused on serving the financial industry and big corporates. Prior to KPMG, she worked at Estarta, an enterprise IT and communications technology enabler, serving global clients throughout the US, Europe and the MENA region. A relentless objectives-driven leader within EastNets, she has led the establishment of the company’s R&D Department. This has involved her deeply in various product and solution inception and development projects. Since mid 2016, she’s been focused on the convergence of EastNets solutions into a platform that delivers compliance integrity to financial clients. Innab is a graduate in computer science and has attended the Orchestrating Winning Performance (OWP) management program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and other strategy planning and execution programs.
