Job Description

The Sales Director is responsible for managing and overseeing the sales operations in the assigned territory and meeting sales targets. His/her main duties include designing sales plans to meet sales targets and developing and cultivating relationships with clients. The sales director will be responsible for meeting the company’s annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts with sustainable growth year after year and a high customer loyalty and retention rate. He/she will motivate our sales team, design strategic sales plans, assess costs, understand the competition, pitch and extend the value proposition and understand the market needs and the trends at the regional and country levels. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.

  • Work with the CSO and other stakeholders to come up with Sales forecasts & objectives for your region, by providing insights, market/opportunity sizing, understanding of the customer needs, etc.

  • Work with country sales managers and challenge them to develop growth strategies and plans focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

  • Create and communicate official sales targets and ensure the CSO and the C-level executives are informed of the progress of those goals.

  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

  • Contribute to the company strategy towards product offering in the market by participating in the annual product roadmaps, based on your understanding of the market trends, regulatory requirements and customer needs, to enhance the value proposed to the customer and enrich the medium- and long-term product plans.

  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.

  • Work closely with your team and Product team to identify the trends and agree on the needed actions towards the products/services strategy in the market.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop, coordinate and implement marketing plans designed to maintain and increase awareness about Eastnets solutions in the market to maximize the captured value.

  • Provide proactive support, access, contacts, information and business development activities that will help your sales organization to deliver on their objectives for the market.

  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.

  • Work with your sales team and all involved stakeholders to enhance the customer experience across all phases of the journey, from the prospecting phase, through the client onboarding process, and sales activities, and by playing an advisory role to the customer to create a trusted, long-term relationship, and gain customer advocacy.

  • In coordination and alignment with the CSO and your Sales Team, attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends. 16. Proactively seek new business opportunities in existing markets and develop new markets that will contribute to the financial growth of the company.

  • Evaluate new market segments, provide insights and present tangible information to the management team that will support informative and logical decisions.

  • Work with the CSO and Product team on the pricing and packaging strategy that will support the product positioning in your region.

  • Work with the management to evaluate and create alliances and strategic partnerships that will strengthen our position in your territory.

  • Ensure full alignment with the company's overall direction and strategies.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

  • Maintain and develop the sales team's product knowledge and ensure the sales team presents and positions all products.

  • Develop with each account manager product sales, positioning and messaging.

  • Report monthly sales expectations for each account manager and plans to recover.

  • Maintain and supervise data quality and ensure real-time data updates on CRM.

  • Report on competitive positioning for each country/region manager.

  • Lead, motivate and challenge your team to improve their performance.

  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees in your sales organization.

  • Develop and maintain your annual Sales budget, addressing the resource requirements, training, events, etc.

  • Responsible for maintaining the skill sets needed and resources in your team and building a sustainable and efficient sales organization in your territory.

  • Utilize Eastnet's tools and systems as designed, to capture valuable data, and make sure it is accurate and up to date; CRM, Timesheets, etc.

  • Maintain the security of the information, devices and systems that Eastnets, and its personnel, customers and partners use.

  • Protect Eastnets business information and any customer, supplier or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity and availability.

  • Adhere to and comply with Eastnets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Nondisclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background Check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.

  • Participate in the company’s wide initiatives.

     



Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of proven success track in managing a profit center in one of the following industries: IT, banking, and/or telecoms.

  • Ability to network with relevant key personnel to facilitate the achievement of business goals. 

  • Extensive leadership background and work experience are required. 

  • Knowledge of managing various work teams across multinational boundaries. 

  • Good understanding of the information technology industry and related business solutions. 

  • Ability to read general financial statements and to plan operating budgets. 

  • Sales, Sales Management & Marketing Experience. 

  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. 

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal language skills. 

  • Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Project, MS Products and Web Browsers, or equivalent. 

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application is a strong plus.

  • Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
