Eastnets rated ‘advanced’ across all KYC capabilities in Chartis RiskTech Quadrant® KYC Data and Solutions 2026

Retains Enterprise Solutions position for second year running

Dubai, 14 October 2026 – Effective financial crime compliance starts with one essential question: who is this customer? If institutions do not know who they are doing business with, or fail to keep that understanding current, downstream controls are weakened as ownership structures change, customers enter new markets and new threats emerge.

KYC is therefore not just an onboarding step. It is the control layer that connects customer identity, ownership, risk, screening and ongoing monitoring.

The regulatory focus is intensifying. In 2025, the FCA conducted a multi-firm review of customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and ongoing due diligence controls, underlining the continued importance of accurate onboarding, customer maintenance and risk-based monitoring.

Eastnets’ work in this area has been recognised for the second year running by Chartis Research. The company has been placed in the Enterprise Solutions quadrant of the Chartis RiskTech Quadrant® for KYC Data and Solutions 2026 and rated “advanced” in all five KYC capability areas assessed.

The recognition follows Eastnets’ rise to #41 in the Chartis RiskTech100® 2027, where it also retained the Trade-Based AML Category Award for the third consecutive year. Together, these recognitions show the breadth of Eastnets’ capabilities across customer due diligence, trade-based AML and intelligence-led compliance.

"Eastnets has continued to build on its technology stack, strengthening its KYC capabilities across customer onboarding, risk scoring and ongoing customer maintenance,” said Phil Mackenzie, Senior Research Principal. “It's consistent investment in data and analytics has secured its position as an Enterprise Solution in the Chartis KYC Solutions Quadrant."

“Strong KYC is where effective financial crime compliance starts,” said Hazem Mulhim, Eastnets CEO. “If institutions do not know who they are doing business with, downstream controls are weakened. Our continued position in Chartis’ quadrant reflects the strength of Eastnets’ KYC capabilities and the confidence our technology can provide, as financial crime risks evolve.”

Eastnets’ KYC capabilities help financial institutions build and maintain accurate customer profiles, identify ownership and risk changes, and support more consistent decisions across onboarding, screening and ongoing monitoring.
