This one-day event, titled, “New challenges and trends in Payments and Financial Crime - Time to Act”,” will be held on Thursday, June 20, at the Lotte Hotel Moscow.
The event will bring together a number of financial experts and industry leaders in order to tackle some of the most critical issues facing banks today, both in the Russian Federation and worldwide. In addition to a series of talks led by EastNets executives, the forum will include a panel discussion with some of the country’s foremost authorities on the financial sector. The conference will also kick off with a keynote address given by the President of the Association of Russian Banks, Garegin Tosunyan. Topics covered during the event include anti-money laundering trends and challenges, online and offline transaction monitoring, know-your-customer (KYC) procedures and requirements, the Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and compliance in a world of instant payments, among others.
