Description
As Data Scientist/Analyst, your main mission will be to apply your in-depth knowledge in technology and programming into the design of machine-learning models, assisting customers in choosing and adapting the right models for their business. You will need to innovate our solutions and provide new features that incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Responsibilities
- Define product requirements, including writing high-level designs and working with business managers, software engineers to bring competitive features to life.
- Analyze big data, apply machine-learning — supervised and unsupervised learning, algorithms for classification, clustering, and anomaly detection.
- Develop prototype Machine learning models and validate them.
- Develop proper Business Cases for newly introduced features (expected behaviors)
- Work on innovative projects involving Machine Learning, and big sets of data.
- Proactively invent solutions and provide prototypes.
- Develop AI models to decipher key customer-behavior patterns.
- Implement Machine Learning processes to help build business-driven solutions.
- Present the findings from your models in a comprehensive manner to customers.
- Follow-up on new technologies and extend your knowledge on them.
- Work on innovative projects involving Machine Learning, and big sets of data.
- Conduct business analysis sessions at the customer site to gather requirements; assist them in selecting the right machine learning models, and fine-tune them.
- Proof of Concept Creation, following up with all stakeholders to create the required proof of concept.
- Understand the products, the business behind the products, the competition, and market needs.
- Work closely with business experts to understand the operational needs (actuarial, marketing, operations, and more), collaborating with them on identifying the relevant data — internal and external.
- Apply Data Science tools to solve business challenges (incl. machine learning).
- Develop algorithms and procedures for which you will measure the relevance, performance, and robustness over time.
- Work in iterative processes with the business and validates findings.
- Help promote a data & analytics-driven culture in the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Science.
- Excellent skills in statistics, machine learning, and data mining.
- Experience with Machine learning algorithms (e.g. clustering, decision trees, ensemble methods, clustering, regression, neural networks, one class classification).
- You love tackling difficult cases
- Knowledge of Data Science within financial crime and fraud is a big plus.
- Academic background preferably in Computer Science or statistics.
- Fluency in English, and good writing and communication skills.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with one or several of the following machine learning tools: Apache Spark, IBM SPSS Modeler, Data Robot, R, Hadoop, SAS, etc
- Knowledge of data transformation and data preparation techniques.
