Financial Settlement, Information and Reconciliation Process
- The remitter will send a remittance instruction message using his/her mobile.
- The MNO verifies password information and balance, and then sends a unique transaction reference code (TRC) to the remitter.
- The MNO then routes the transaction details to en.MoRes.
- en.MoRes validates and routes the remittance instructions to the receiving bank.
- The beneficiary will collect the amount at any branch of the receiving bank.
- en.MoRes provides mobile remittance transactions and reconciliation reports to the MNOs and the global settlement bank for daily financial settlement.
- MNOs, via their local banks, pay daily settlement amounts to the global settlement bank.
- The global settlement bank pays the receiving bank.
