The Security Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that the design and development of EastNets technologies satisfy the highest degree of security possible. He or she will act as an authoritative internal resource for network and system security. This role requires collaboration with developers, system and network administrators, as well as other stakeholders to ensure the correct design, development, and implementation of the company’s infrastructure.


Delivery of security architecture reviews.- Ensuring IT-Security related systems are appropriate, and properly maintained and administered. - Supporting system administrators in network administration and configuration.- Review, monitor, investigate and report any incidents of attacks against the company.- Performs forensic investigations as required by other entities of the company.- Identify vulnerabilities, develop, and ensure the implementation of the appropriate solutions to eliminate or minimize their potential effects.- Conduct penetration test and vulnerability assessments.- Research, evaluate, develop, and implement Network Security solutions to meet industry standards and best practices.- Design, install, configure, support, and maintain firewall, and other network security hardware and software infrastructure according to company standards and industry best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention devices, and VPN concentrators etc.- Assist in the maintenance and development of security policies and procedures, while evaluating new and existing security technologies.- Work with the other IT organizations to design, develop, and implement Enterprise Security solutions in support of development, test, and production environments. 


1. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent IT Certification, CCNP, CCSP or equivalent or higher preferred.
2. Ideal candidate should have experience in routing and switching, and experience in network security engineering in an enterprise environment.
3. Experience securing large-scale web applications.
4. Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack and troubleshooting tools (tcpdump/protocol analysis), Routing/Switching.
5. Run periodic network vulnerability scans, penetration tests and security reviews.
6. Participate in compliance audits from a network perspective.
7. Support the incident response process with network data and solutions.
8. Effectively follow change management guidelines for all changes made to production systems.
9. Must have a very good knowledge in CISCO Firewalls, Juniper firewalls or Fortinet administrations and configuration.
10. Familiar with SIEM Solutions and Vulnerability Management solutions.


1. Automation and scripting skills for configuration management and monitoring.
2. Hands-on network engineering and operations on-call experience.
3. Advanced knowledge of ISP networking including security and redundancy.
4. Ability to write project plans, lead cross-functional project teams and lead problem-solving activities.
